Job Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant who is highly motivated, organized, and creative with experience in marketing preferably in an industrial setting.

  • Handle daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Support marketing management in organizing various projects
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events (online and in-person) and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Assist in composing and posting online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Assist in writing marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to increase the company’s presence in the market
  • Collaborate with the graphics team to create quality marketing content, ensuring it meets our branding standards
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns

 


Job Qualifications:

Experience

  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant
  • Graphic Design is a plus
  • Social Media reporting/analytics
  • Good understanding of marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Google analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • At least one year of related work experience and managing social media is required. Two or more years of experience is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: this includes the use Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), social media, search engine optimization techniques, digital media, graphic design, etc.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred
