Labor Market Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of gathering and managing relevant Labor Supply & Demand Forecast data through primary research and survey methods. Successful candidate will also collect market intelligence to support the delivery of a wide range of other market outlooks and forecasting client projects.
-Identify primary research activities to gather information and data on the current demographics and availability of construction labor across various target territories. -Collect, organize and analyze information and insights on the current and future outlook for labor wage rates across different craft types and territories. -Build and maintain relationships with various sources of data and intelligence, ranging from contractors, craft labor trade associations and human resources organizations. -Identify the trends between public and private sector project execution and the impact of these on regional labor supply and demographics. -Manage and maintain IIR’s stock of data and information gathered from primary (telephoned based) surveys and secondary research. -Good knowledge of the industrial project execution and delivery market. -Knowledge of labor craft skills associated with industrial plant construction and maintenance. -Familiarity with pay scales, benefit packages and incentives related to skilled labor construction.
Experience - Five years related experience in industrial or construction sectors preferred. - Any relevant knowledge of energy related industrial processes and/or industrial equipment would be advantageousEducation - High School Graduate/(GED).College course work or degree preferred.Computer Skills - Adequate level computer analytical skills are required, Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)
