Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--To meet the enhanced crude oil requirement at its Panipat Refinery, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) (New Delhi, India) is increasing the capacity of the Mundra-to-Panipat Pipeline, which carries crude oil from Mundra, Gujarat, to Panipat.
IOCL's major refinery in Panipat, Haryana, is expanding its processing capacity by 500,000 barrels per day (BBL/d). IOCL plans to build a 1,100-kilometer line that will run parallel to the existing line. IOCL also is increasing the existing line's pumping capacity.
IOCL expects the pipeline's expansion to be completed by 2025.
