Among the largest Pharma-Biotech projects underway in the U.S. is Novo Nordisk A/S' (NYSE:NVO) (Bagsværd, Denmark) grassroot insulin active pharmaceutical ingredient plant in Clayton, North Carolina, near the company's existing facility. Construction on the 833,000-square-foot facility began in late 2016, with Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR) (Irving, Texas) providing engineering, procurement and construction.
