Pharmaceutical and biotech companies continue to invest in Montes Claros, located north of Mina Gerais, Brazil. The city has is becoming well known in this segment. As an example, Novo Nordisk is making significant investments in its Montes Claros facilities.
Sanval, a subsidiary of Hipolabo, plans to start operations within two years at its grassroot plant, which represents an investment of more than $18 million.
