NorthWestern Energy will operate the plants, which have a combined generating capacity of 633 megawatts and comprise 22 units. NorthWestern Energy also partiality owns other plants, such as the Coyote Power Station (Beulah, North Dakota) and Big Stone Power Station (Big Stone, South Dakota), among others. It also fully owns the of Dave Gates Generating Station (Anaconda, Montana).
