PetroChina to Spend $3 Billion on Dalian Refinery

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--PetroChina Dalian Petrochemical (Dalian, Liaoning), which is state-owned PetroChina Company Limited's largest integrated petroleum and petrochemical base, plans to spend nearly US$3 billion on 17 projects, including a relocation, unit upgrades and plant maintenance.

Located in the northeastern Liaoning province, the 410,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) PetroChina Dalian facility started commercial operations in 1933. It is on schedule to perform a 60-day plant-wide turnaround in the second quarter.
