LACC LLC currently expects its 2,305 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit in Westlake, Louisiana, will restart by September 7.

Dow Chemical's 2,300 million-pound-per-year LHC 8 ethylene unit in Freeport (Oyster Creek), Texas, remains offline. The unit shut down in late July for piping and fouling repairs after Hurricane Beryl passed through the area. IIR continues to monitor this outage and will update accordingly.

Sasol's 920 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit in Lake Charles, Louisiana, remains shut down. The unit shut down on March 20 and is expected to remain down for multiple months for compressor repairs. IIR continues to monitor this outage and will update accordingly.

Sasol Polymers accelerated a 20-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 1,047 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Secunda Chemical Complex in South Africa. Work began on September 4, and expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by September 23.
