Williams in Touch with State, Federal Regulators to Revive Pennsylvania-New York Pipelines - Williams Companies Incorporated (Tulsa, Oklahoma) said on Thursday it was working with federal and state regulators to revive two previously canceled natural gas pipelines from Pennsylvania to New York. The pipelines are the Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and New York and the Constitution Pipeline from Pennsylvania to New York. NextDecade, Japan's JERA Sign LNG Supply Deal - U.S. liquefied natural gas producer NextDecade Corporation (Houston, Texas) said on Thursday it had signed a 20-year deal to supply Japan's biggest power generator JERA (Tokyo) with 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG from its Rio Grande project's fifth liquefaction facility. U.S. Crude Oil Inventories Fall - U.S. crude oil inventories fell by 2.8 million barrels to 440.4 million barrels in the week ending May 23, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported Thursday. U.S. gasoline stocks fell by 2.4 million barrels in the week to 223.1 million barrels, the EIA said. Distillate stockpiles fell by 724,000 barrels in the week to 103.4 million barrels. (Reuters)
