Many of Suffolk's projects are in its home state of Massachusetts, and among the largest is the Phase I modernization of Terminal E at the Boston Logan International Airport. The project includes constructing 400,000 square feet of terminal space and performing renovations to the existing 800,000 square feet of the Terminal E structure with four new gates to accommodate current and anticipated operational volumes. Other projects in the Boston area include of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Limited AG's (Basel, Switzerland) advanced genomic diagnostic testing facility, which entails the construction and equipping of a 16-story building that will consolidate operations and expand advanced genomic/biomarker testing and development as well as house new headquarters. Other Pharma-Biotech projects in which Suffolk is involved include the Children's National Health System's (Washington, D.C.) pediatric research and innovation building hub addition in Washington, D.C, which is being built on the northwest side of the 113-acre former Walter Reed Army Medical Campus, and entails renovating an eight-story, 375,000-square-foot former Walter Reed building and equipping it for research of pediatric remedies of ailments. Further south in Miami, Florida, Suffolk is underway with the expansion of Cruise Terminal V at the Port of Miami, which involves constructing a new state-of-the-art cruise terminal and a new bulkhead with apron and vessel provisioning facilities.
