Mitsui Chemicals Incorporated, on June 24, began a 46-day planned turnaround of the 661.38 million-pound-per-year No. 4 Polypropylene Unit (GPP Plant) and four other units at its Takaishi Osaka Chemical Complex in Japan. The unit restart is expected by August 8.
Angarsky Zavod Polymerov OAO continues with a planned maintenance turnaround of the 297 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its chemical complex in Angarsk, Russia. The unit restart is expected by July 19.
