Bayport Polymers has completed construction of its new 1.38 billion-pound-per-year High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) unit in Pasadena, Texas. The new unit became operational in July, and operations will continue to ramp up through the third quarter.
