Nucor Corporation announced this morning plans to build a new steel plate mill in the U.S. Midwest. This marks the fourth grassroot steel mill project that Nucor is studying for the U.S. market, and increases the the amount of active projects being developed by the company in North America to just less than $5 billion, according to Industrial Info's Metals & Minerals Business Intelligence Platform. Quite the project pipeline!
