China's Wanhua Chemical to Add PDH Unit

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Wanhua Chemical (Yantai, China) announced that it will build a new 900,000-ton-per-year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in the Penglai Chemical Industrial Park in Shandong. The PDH unit duplicates the capacity of an existing unit at the complex.

When the second unit at Penglai is put into production, Wanhua will have three PDH units at two sites with a total production capacity of 2.55 million tons.
