Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Founded in 1990, DPR Construction (Redwood City, California) has become a leading construction contractor, with offices throughout the U.S. as well as Europe and Asia. Industrial Info is tracking DPR's involvement in more than $8.8 billion worth of U.S. projects, primarily in the Industrial Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical-Biotech industries, covering all U.S. market regions.

Among the largest projects on which DPR is acting as general contractor is a grassroot data center for Facebook parent company Meta Platforms Incorporated (NASDAQ:META) (Menlo Park, California) in Mesa, Arizona, on the southeastern outskirts of Phoenix. The project entails construction of two data center buildings totaling 960,000 square feet with equipment and systems to help Meta meet demand for Facebook and other platforms. Construction kicked off in 2021 and is expected to be completed toward the end of this year. The data center will be Meta's 18th data center globally and 14th in the U.S., according to a DPR release. Subscribers to Industrial Info's Global Market Intelligence (GMI) Industrial Manufacturing Project Database can click here for more details.

Other projects for Meta that DPR is at work on include a grassroot data center and Phase II expansion in Gallatin, Tennessee. Phase I will add approximately 982,000 square feet of building space, while Phase II adds another 672,000 square feet, including 45,000 square feet of office space. Both phases are expected to wrap up this summer. A third phase of construction is in the early planning stage. Subscribers can click here for the full reports.

Also in the technology sector, DPR is at work on providing semiconductor wafer manufacturer Pallidus Incorporated (Albany, New York) new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The project, which kicked off earlier this year, entails renovating an existing 300,000-square-foot building with both office space and supporting equipment to produce next-generation silicon carbide wafers to power semiconductors in the electric vehicle, telecommunications, data center and other sectors. The project is expected to be completed later this year. Subscribers can click here for more information.

DPR also is at work on Amazon.com Incorporated's (NASDAQ:AMZN) (Seattle, Washington) Project Tarpon, a six-story, 2.8 million-square-foot distribution center in Daytona Beach, Florida, to help support Amazon's regional operations. The project kicked off in early 2022 and is expected to wrap up by the end of this year. Subscribers can click here for the full report.

Outside of the Industrial Manufacturing Industry, DPR is at work on projects in the Pharmaceutical-Biotech sector. Planned to be completed later this year is a biologics and cell culture therapy addition at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company's (NYSE:BMY) (New York, New York) campus in Devens, Massachusetts. The three-story, 244,000-square-foot building will allow for the specialized production of personal, genetically engineered cell therapies for treatment of certain forms of cancer. In addition, a central warehousing building will be expanded by 45,000 square feet and a three-story, 600-space parking garage will be constructed. Subscribers to Industrial Info's Pharmaceutical-Biotech Project Database can learn more by viewing the project report.

DPR began construction on Neurocrine Biosciences Incorporated's (San Diego, California) Phase II expansion of its research and development facility for treatments of neurological and endocrine diseases. The project includes construction of two buildings totaling approximately 295,000 square feet and is expected to be completed in mid-2024. Subscribers can click here for the full report.
