Feed gas has been sent to Train 1 at the Freeport LNG site on Quintana Island in south Texas. The train is in final commissioning and is designed to produce 5 million metric tons per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The LNG is designated for export. The majority of the tolling agreements have been made with companies from Japan and South Korea.
