Indonesia's HPAL Plants in Expansion Mode

Meanwhile, PT QMB New Energy Materials (Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia) will be boosting its nickel-cobalt output by 30,000 tons per year. The Harita Group (Jakarta, Indonesia) is in the process of enlarging its HPAL capacity to reach 240,000 tons per year for nickel-cobalt compounds. Harita plans to introduce a precursor project linked to the HPAL operation, aimed at further refining battery materials downstream.
