With its chemical companies now required to produce more environmentally friendly products, Japan is seeing more projects oriented toward carbon neutrality
Toyo Styrene Company Limited (Tokyo, Japan) recently started operations at its recycled styrene monomer (SM) unit, which uses depleted polystyrene trays as its feedstock, and DIC Corporation (Tokyo) began construction in November on a recycled styrene monomer (CR) unit, which uses crushed foamed polystyrene as its feedstock.
