Kenya Targets 100% Clean Energy by 2030

The country already generates nearly 90% of its electricity from renewable sources such as geothermal, hydro, wind and solar.

As part of this ambitious plan, the government intends to add more than 800 megawatts of geothermal capacity by 2030, supporting the Geothermal Development Company (GDC) in drilling and scaling risk mitigation for geothermal projects.
