Motiva to Begin Turnaround at Port Arthur Refinery, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Motiva Enterprises will begin a 60-day planned turnaround on September 6 on the 325,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) VPS 5 crude unit at the 600,000-BBL/d refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. Additionally, the 115,000-BBL/d naphtha hydrotreater, 85,000-BBL/d CRU 5 reformer, and 50,000-BBL/d Isomerization unit will be down for 45 days. This is the first major turnaround on the VPS 5 since its initial startup in 2012.
