The chartered BW Batangas floating storage and regasification unit boasts a substantial regasification capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). The third LNG cargo, anticipated for delivery in February by TotalEnergies Gas & Power Asia Private Limited, will further strengthen the facility. In addition, as part of First Gen's expansion plan, an onshore regasification facility is in the works, set to add another 5 MTPA of capacity to meet the growing demand for natural gas.
