RWE Puts Ohio Wind Project in Operation - RWE Renewables (Essen, Germany) has started commercial operation on its 250-megawatt Scioto Ridge Windfarm in Ohio. The project, located in Hardin and Logan counties, is powered by 75 Siemens Gamesa turbines and represents RWE's first onshore wind project in the state. U.S. Crude Oil Stocks Fall, Fuel Rises - U.S. crude oil inventories fell by 5.1 million barrels in the week ending May 28. Gasoline stocks rose by 1.5 million barrels. Distillate stockpiles rose by 3.7 million barrels. Net U.S. crude imports rose last week by 247,000 barrels per day. (Reuters)

Tellurian Signs 10-Year LNG Deal with Vitol - U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) developer Tellurian Incorporated (NASDAQ:TELL) (Houston, Texas) said on Thursday it had signed a 10-year sale and purchase agreement with commodity trader Vitol for 3 million metric tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG. It is the second 10-year, 3-MTPA agreement Tellurian has announced in a week, following a deal with commodity trader Gunvor Group. Each deal is worth about $12 billion in revenue over the contract period. (Reuters)
