KOFU, JAPAN--January 30, 2024--S-Oil Corporation (Seoul, South Korea) is one of the largest refining companies in South Korea and will spend more than $143 million on 18 refining projects such as plant upgrades, maintenance and revamps. Among the largest of these projects is the revamp of the polypropylene unit at its Ulju, Ulsan, facility, which entails adding a cooler, heat exchangers and extruders to increase capacity.
