South Korea's POSCO to Introduce Electric Arc Furnaces

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--POSCO (Pohang, South Korea) is upping its carbon-neutrality plan from a 10% reduction by 2030 to 35% by 2035. The company's latest steelmaking technology, HyREX, which uses a hydrogen reduction method, is expected to be "net-zero" after 2050.
