Chevron Phillips Chemical is in the process of shutting down its 1,840 million-pound-per-year 1592 Ethylene unit in Baytown (Cedar Bayou), Texas, for an approximately 120-day major turnaround. The restart is expected in August.

JSC Lifosa has suspended operations at its Lifosa AB Fertilizers Plant in Lithuania due to European Union (EU) sanctions. The plant already stopped production and sales, and a full facility closure is expected April 9.

GAIL India Limited, on April 4, started a 27-day maintenance turnaround of the 992 million-pound-per-year Ethylene Unit 2 and 992 million-pound-per-year Ethylene Cracker Unit 01 at its Auraiya (Pata) Petrochemical Complex in India. The restart is expected by April 30.

ONGC Petro Additions Limited, on April 5, started a 30-day planned turnaround of the 242.5 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Dahej Petrochemical Complex in India. The restart is expected by May 4.
