Motiva Enterprises, on April 29, expects to attempt a restart on its LOU ethylene unit in Port Arthur, Texas, after it was shut down on March 6.

Petrochemical Company Sdn Bhd (PRefChem Petrochemical) continues with a planned 70-day turnaround of the 2,425 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex in Malaysia. The restart is expected by May 18.

Braskem, on April 19, began a 38-day maintenance turnaround of six units at its Trinufo Petrochemical Complex in Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state. The units are expected to resume normal operations on May 26.
