Indorama Ventures, yesterday, May 25, took its 945 million-pound-per-year olefins unit in Lake Charles, Louisiana, offline for minor maintenance. The restart is expected on June 24.

Shell Chemical continues a turnaround of its 300 million-pound-per year OP2D ethylene unit in Deer Park, Texas. Operations are expected to resume by June 3.

LyondellBasell Industries NV continues with a planned maintenance shutdown of the 1,150 million-pound-per-year Steam Cracker (U250), 705 million-pound-per year Polyethylene (PE) and 771 million-pound-per-year Polypropylene (PP) units at its Berre-l'Etang Petrochemical Plant in France. The restart is expected in early June.
