Chevron Phillips' 3,330 million-pound-per-year 1594 Ethylene unit in Cedar Bayou (Baytown), Texas, is expected to be back online by the upcoming weekend. The unit was shut down on September 4 for maintenance in a compressor that is needed due to a plant-wide power outage in late July.

Westlake Polymers Corporation is performing planned maintenance on its 51.7 million-pound-per-year Polyethylene Line B (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) unit in Sulphur, Louisiana. Expectations are to restart the unit by the end of October.
