Georgia Power Company, on May 22, was forced to take the 876-megawatt (MW) Hatch 01 unit offline at its Edwin I Hatch Nuclear Power Station in Georgia, to repair a safety relief valve leak. The event is expected to end May 27.

AES Indiana has moved out the completion of planned work to rebuild turbine valves at its Petersburg Generating Station in Indiana, and now expects to restart the 574-MW Petersburg 03 unit on May 25.

Portlands Energy Centre LP's 290-MW Portlands 01 ST, 191-MW Portlands 01 CT/HRSG and 181-MW Portlands 02 CT/HRSG units are offline at its Portlands Energy Centre in Ontario, Canada, due to a steam pipe leak and other related equipment repairs. The event is expected to end May 25.
