Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, on July 18, experienced an unplanned shutdown of the 1,160-megawatt (MW) Wolk Creek 01 unit at its Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Station in Kansas after an automatic reactor tripped due to low levels on a steam generator. The event is expected to end July 21.

Energy Harbor LLC, on July 15, was forced to take the 680-MW W H Sammis South 07 unit offline at its W H Sammis Power Station in Ohio for boiler tube and duct repairs. The event is expected to end July 20. On July 17, the 680-MW W H Sammis South 06 and 334.1-MW W H Sammis South 05 units went offline for unplanned boiler inspections and repairs. The event is expected to end July 22.

Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative Incorporated has rescheduled the restart of the 540-MW Merom 02 unit at its Merom Generating Station in Indiana. The event is expected to end July 29.
