Evergy Incorporated has rescheduled the restart of its coal-fired, 720-MW Jeffrey 03 unit at its Jeffrey Energy Center in Kansas. Evergy is rebuilding the unit's turbine and replacing its blades as well as performing maintenance on the generator exciter. The restart now is expected in early January.
