Omaha Public Power District is in the final stages of commissioning two natural gas-fired, 225-megawatt (MW) units at its Turtle Creek Power Station in Nebraska. The completion/startup is expected in mid-to-late August.
AES Alamitos LLC's 216-MW Alamitos 01A CT/HRSG, 216-MW Alamitos 02A CT/HRSG and 210-MW Alamitos 01A ST units are offline for a borescope inspection and other work at its Alamitos Power Station in California, and the restart is expected April 15. The 333-MW Alamitos 03 unit also is expected to restart April 15, and the 333-MW Alamitos 4 on April 5.
