South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company rescheduled the restart of the 1,354.3-megawatt (MW) South Texas 01 unit at its South Texas Project Nuclear Generating Station in Texas. The unit went offline due to a fire in the switchyard on July 24, and the restart now is expected August 1.

Tennessee Valley Authority's 1,130-MW Sequoyah 02 unit is slowing ramping up following unplanned maintenance at its Sequoyah Nuclear Power Station in Tennessee. Expectations are to connect the unit to the grid tomorrow.

Luminant Generation Company LLC expects its subbituminous coal-fired, 660-MW Kincaid 01 unit will restart July 31, following a boiler tube leak at the Kincaid Power Station in Illinois.
