BP, on April 11, started a 30-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 260,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) crude and 55,000-BBL/d delayed coker units at its 260,000-BBL/d Cherry Point Refinery in Washington.
Cenovus Energy Incorporated continues to repair and rebuild its 50,000-BBL/d refinery in Superior, Wisconsin, after a fire and explosion forced the facility to shut down in April 2018. Cenovus hopes to have the lone crude unit back online in August, and the rest of the facility back online and in production in December.

Shenghong Refinery (Lianyungang) Company Limited's 320,000-BBL/d Lianyungang (Xuwei) Refinery in Jiangsu, China, is in the final commissioning stage. Commercial operation has been delayed to January 2023 due to high demand for crude feedstock and weak refined-product demand.
Slavneft-YANOS, in early April, started a planned maintenance turnaround and repairs on the 35,000-BBL/d Visbreaker, 22,300-BBL/d Hydrocracker UGK (Stream A, 22,300-BBL/d Hydrocracker UGK (Stream B) and associated secondary units at its 312,800-BBL/d Yaroslavl Refinery in Russia. The completion and restart on a unit-by-unit basis is planned before the end of June.
INA has started the restart process on production units at its 90,000-BBL/d Rijeka Refinery in Croatia. The process is expected to take about seven days, and the refinery could reach full capacity by April 20.
