ExxonMobil continues with a planned maintenance turnaround of the 314,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude Pipe Still 8 at its 557,000-BBL/d refinery in Baytown, Texas.

Reliance Industries Limited, on September 23, began a 35-day planned turnaround of the 380,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 2 at its 760,000-BBL/d Jamnagar SEZ Refinery in India. Expectations are to restart the unit by October 27.

OQ8 has delayed the commercial startup of the lone crude unit at its 230,000-BBL/d Duqm Refinery in Oman. Startup of the unit, which has been under trial runs since April 3 and is currently operating at around 60%, now is tentatively expected by October 10. Additionally, OQ8 continues with trial operations of the 74,000-BBL/d Hydrocracker unit, and commercial operations are tentatively expected by November 15.
