Par Pacific Holdings Incorporated continues with a 40-day planned maintenance turnaround of the lone crude unit that began on April 3 at its 63,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Billings Refinery in Montana. Expectations are to restart the unit by mid-May.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), on April 15, began a 10-day planned catalyst changeover shutdown for the 34,700-BBL/d Naphtha Hydrotreater 3, 18,500-BBL/d Reformer 2 and 16,200-BBL/d Isomerization 2 units at its 320,000-BBL/d Kochi Refinery in India. Expectations are to restart the units by April 24.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), on April 16, was forced to shut its 232,000-BBL/d (design capacity: 210,000 BBL/d) Manali Refinery in India due to a power failure. Expectations are to restart the refinery by April 18.

NNPC delayed the restart of the old 60,000-BBL/d PHRC at its 210,000-BBL/d Port Harcourt Refinery in Nigeria. Tentative expectations now are to restart the units by May 15. Separately, the restart of the new PHRC remains on schedule and is expected to tentatively restart by December 15, 2024.
