Cenovus Energy Incorporated, on April 19, began oil-out procedures to perform a 35-day planned maintenance turnaround of the lone crude, 20,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) vacuum and 14,000-BBL/d asphalt units at its 30,000-BBL/d Lloydminster Refinery in Alberta, Canada.

Attock Refinery Limited, on April 22, was forced to shut down the 32,400-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 3 at its 53,400-BBL/d Rawalpindi Refinery in Pakistan, due to high stock levels of diesel products. Tentative expectations are to restart the unit and resume normal operations by May 15.
