Trunkline Gas Company Nears Completion on Field Zone Natural Gas Capacity Expansion

The construction contracts for the 230 million Field Zone project were awarded to Willbros-RPI Incorporated (Houston) and ENCON LC (Cypress, Texas). The project involves the construction of two pipeline segments totaling 51 miles of 36-inch-diameter pipeline and the expansion of the Longville, Kountze and Kaplan compressor stations. More than 30,000 horsepower of electric-driven compression was installed to support the new natural gas transmission capacity.
