Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Industrial Info is tracking more than $1.1 billion in planned Oil & Gas Production project starts and completions in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic and Southeast market regions between July and September this year. The projects range from a small liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility to gas processing plants.

The Mid-Atlantic region includes Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. The Southeast market region includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Among the largest projects planned to kick off is Eagle LNG Partners' (Houston, Texas) plans for an LNG production and export facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The LNG train will be capable of producing 550,000 gallons per day of LNG for domestic use and export. Saulsbury Industries (Houston, Texas) is performing designing engineering. The project is expected to take about two years to complete. For more information, see Industrial Info's project reports on the LNG liquefaction plant and gas pretreatment unit.

MarkWest Energy Partners LP (Denver, Colorado), a subsidiary of MPLX LP (NYSE:MPLX) (Findlay, Ohio), is both completing and beginning expansions at its cryogenic natural gas processing plant in West Union, West Virginia, during the quarter. Construction on Train 10 began earlier this year and will bring the facility's processing capacity up from 1.8 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) to 2 Bcf/d. The train is expected to be completed late in the quarter. Chapman Corporation (Washington, Pennsylvania) is general contractor on the project. Before Train 10's completion, MarkWest will have already begun construction of Train 11, which is expected to be completed in early 2019 and will bring total plant capacity to 2.2 Bcf/d. The projects have a combined total investment value (TIV) of $400 million. For more information, see Industrial Info's project reports on Train 10 and Train 11.

Williams Partners LP (NYSE:WPZ) (Tulsa, Oklahoma) plans to wrap up construction on a Phase II expansion of its cryogenic natural gas liquids extraction plant in Moundsville, West Virginia. The 200 million-cubic-foot-per-day extraction unit will bring total plant capacity to 400 million cubic feet per day. Construction began earlier this year and is expected to be completed this summer. Summit Industrial Construction LLC (Alpharetta, Georgia) is general contractor on the project, which has an estimated TIV of $100 million. For more information, see Industrial Info's project report.

Williams also plans to begin constructing gas compressor stations for a gathering system in West Virginia. Among these are compressor stations in Moundsville and Cameron, West Virginia, to source gas from the Marcellus and Upper Devonian shales. Construction is expected to begin late in the quarter and be completed in the first half of next year. The projects have an estimated TIV of $10 million each. For more information, see Industrial Info's project reports on the Moundsville and Cameron compressor stations.
