Woodside to Soon Reach FID on Two Projects

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Australian oil and gas major Woodside Energy is expected to reach a final investment decision (FID) for its Scarborough drilling project and Pluto Train 2 liquefied natural gas project by end of this year, as published in the company's third-quarter 2021 report.

Pluto Train 2, with a capacity of 5 million tons per annum, will process gas from the Scarborough field. Bechtel is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the Pluto Train II project. The projects are expected to be completed by 2026.
