Brazil Expects More than 6 Million Tons of New Pulp Capacity in Second-Half 2021, 2022

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In Brazil, more than 6 million tons per year of new pulp production is expected to become available for the remainder of this year and into 2022, due to large projects like Klabin's (Sao Paulo) Puma II project and Bracell's (Camacari) "Projeto Star."
Projeto Star, which was completed in August, represents the biggest private investment in Sao Paulo state over the last 20 years, according to the company's website.
