Chevron Seeks to Reduce Nigerian Presence with Oilfield Sales - Chevron (NYSE:CVX) is seeking to sell several Nigerian oilfields as part of a global drive to reshape its portfolio as it focuses on growing its U.S. shale output, banking and industry sources told Reuters. Chevron joins rivals including Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) and Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE:RDS-A) in a drive by foreign oil companies to reduce their footprint in Africa's largest oil producer, which has been mired in political and security instability in recent years. Chevron is Nigeria's third-largest oil producer. (Reuters)

EPIC Starts Third Open Season for Crude Oil Pipeline - This week, EPIC Crude Holdings launched a third open season for its EPIC Crude Oil Pipeline, running from the Permian Basin to the Corpus Christi, Texas, area.
