Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)-- Idaho has about 3,100 megawatts (MW) of power with roughly 70% being hydroelectric. This can be both good and bad. On the good side, there is very little air pollution. On the bad side, the state is heavily reliant on water flow and must deal with marine-life issues.
