Energy Transfer Signs on Construction Consortium for Louisiana LNG Plant - Energy Transfer LP (NYSE:ET) (Dallas, Texas) has signed a preliminary contract with a consortium to build its proposed Lake Charles liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Louisiana, a filing with federal regulators on Thursday shows. The deal with Technip Energies (Nanterre, France) and KBR Incorporated (NYSE:KBR) (Houston, Texas) is subject to a final investment decision for the Lake Charles LNG project, Energy Transfer said in a filing to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. China's September Refining Output Falls for Sixth Straight Month - China's refinery output fell 5.4% last month versus a year earlier, official data showed on Friday, declining for a sixth consecutive month. Refiners processed 58.73 million metric tons of crude oil last month, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed, equivalent to 14.29 million barrels per day. (Reuters)
