Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Ibeto Energy Development Company Limited (Port Harcourt, Nigeria) is seeking interested U.S.-based engineering and construction (E&C) firms to tender a bid for the development of a proposed liquefied-petroleum-gas (LPG) production, storage and distribution facility in Bundu Ama, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The company is already accepting bids from European firms.
Conceptual design was completed by Astus Engineering (Jork, Germany). The project envisions taking advantage of the available gas fields in the Port Harcourt area to produce a new source for LPG and natural gas liquids (NGL) for Nigeria and export markets.
The Ibeto Energy project, estimated to cost about $1 billion to equip, engineer and construct, will include a 120 million-standard-cubic-foot-per-day gas processing and fractionation plant with separation, gas treating, inlet gas compression and dehydration, and NGL recovery, pipelines, 10,000-ton storage tank farm, sales gas compression, and export loading terminal facilities.
Interested E&C firms should have experience with LPG or liquefied-natural-gas facilities of this magnitude. For details, contact Ayobami T. Abolaji at efatab@yahoo.com, or call 313-244-6026.
