Chevron Phillips Chemical is on schedule to perform an approximately 120-day major turnaround of its 1,840 million-pound-per-year 1592 Ethylene Unit in Baytown (Cedar Bayou), Texas, in April 2022. Expectations are to restart the unit in July 2022.

NOVA Chemicals continues a turnaround of its 1,600 million-pound-per-year E1 Ethylene Unit in Joffre, Alberta. Expectations are to restart operations by the end of October.

PetroIneos Manufacturing Scotland Limited, on September 14, completed a planned maintenance shutdown of the 1,206 million-pound-per-year Ethylene KG Unit at its Grangemouth Olefins & Polymers Plant in the U.K. The major unit shutdown kicked off at the end of July.

GAIL India Limited remains on schedule to begin a 15-day maintenance turnaround of the 992 million-pound-per-year Ethylene 2 Unit, on January 7, 2022, at its Auraiya (Pata) Complex in India. Expectations are to restart the unit by January 21, 2022.

JSC Odessa Portside was forced to suspend operations at its Odessa Portside Fertilizers Plant in Ukraine, in late September, due to high natural gas prices.
