India's HPCL Moves Ahead With Refined Products Pipeline

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is moving ahead with its 234-kilometer refined products pipeline, which will run from HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited's (HRRL) grassroot 180,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Barmer Refinery in India, to the Palanpur Terminal.

HRRL is a joint venture between HPCL and the Government of Rajasthan.

The proposed 18-inch-diameter Barmer Palanpur Pipeline project (BPPL) will have a capacity of 5.8 million metric tons per annum, and pass through Pachpadra (Barmer, Rajasthan) and Palanpur (Gujarat).
