The world is in the midst of an energy transition. While coal, natural gas and nuclear contribute substantially to global power spending, projects focused on renewable energy such as wind ($1.7 trillion), hydropower ($1.2 trillion) and solar ($860.4 billion) are becoming increasingly prevalent. Examples of increasingly large-scale renewable energy projects include Invenergy LLC's (Chicago, Illinois) 999-megawatt (MW) Traverse wind project in Oklahoma, which is set to kick off construction later this year for completion in 2023 (see project report) and China's 2,400-MW Jinsha River Xulong Hydropower Station, construction of which is planned to begin soon (see project report).

Some of the webinar's topics will include:
  • Market trends by world region
  • Outlook for renewable energy investments, including wind, solar, hydro and others
  • Overview of battery storage project activity
  • Hot spots for development of new natural gas-fired power generation capacity
  • Outlook for in-plant capital and maintenance project activity
  • Global overview of the coal-fired generating sector
  • Key areas of the world where new nuclear power generation is being developed
  • Overall analysis of growth in non-traditional power generation
  • Development of Power-to-X project activity
We hope that you are able to join us for this timely and informative webinar! Click here to RSVP.
