Kenya's Sugar Imports Increase

Around 28,609 metric tons of sugar was imported in February, which is up 22.9% percent compared with January's import figure of 22,722 metric tons.

India is the prime exporter, supplying cheap sugar to compliment domestic production in Kenya. Madagascar is the second major exporter.
