Masterfoods’ $30 Million Plant Expansion Underway

Construction started this summer and is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2008.

Demand for the company’s products, such as Dove chocolate, is increasing and Masterfoods expects the expansion to help fulfill that demand. It is estimated that the project will add 120 jobs to the 300 associates plus 100 local contractors the company already employs.
